A Thousand Miles

If I could fall
Into the sky
Do you think time
Would pass me by
'Cause you know I'd walk
A thousand miles
If I could Just see you
Tonight
It's always times like these
When I think of you
And I wonder
If you ever
Think of me

Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles

Photo taken Saturday 8-16-08 (around 2:30 pm) somewhere on Route 206 South while en route to Atlantic City.

well, I thought of you and called by to say hello.
And here you are jaunting off into the far beyond.

The journey is more than a thousand miles. Sometimes we were hundreds of miles apart even when we were next to each other....

To get there is only 300 miles. I'm not going there...

It didn't work then, and it won't work now....

That doesn't mean that I don't still love him.

That is really a beautiful poem & a great picture to go along with it.

I'm still looking at the clouds....

I'm seeing a dove, a road runner, and a care bear plush toy.

I see a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Ooooh. I see it too!

Tilt your head differently, maybe you'll see the road runner bird.

That's not a poem, it's part of a song. Poetry and music, it's still art... well, that depends on the "art".

The song was came on the radio when I took the picture. It fit how I was feeling completely.
